Your Summit FAQ’S

The LBW Trust (Learning for a Better World) believes that education is the pathway to a better future.

Established in 2006, we have supported more than 15,000 disadvantaged students to receive a university or vocational education. We currently support 2,500 students.

We also support more than 170 country libraries throughout Australia.

We believe that education empowers people and can change lives for the better, not only by providing hope for the individual and their family but by becoming a vehicle for change in their communities and countries.

Yes, but unlike any other fundraising event. This is no ‘sit around the table and bid at an auction’ fundraiser.

The Summit will raise funds for The LBW Trust and importantly, it will forge a link between this important cause and the people moving and shaking in this important and developing industry.

Each year our fundraising goes towards supporting rural, regional and remote libraries in Western Australia and to LBW Education Partners.

The program includes networking, a three-course lunch, panellists, a live-stream and an afternoon of backyard cricket.

The Summit brings together miners, investors, geologists, policy-makers, politicians, industry leaders, economists, sports stars and cricketers.
